Mena and Payton are sisters and self-taught creatives who've had an interest in storytelling since childhood. Mena is an artist learning animation from former Disney animator Greg Manwaring, and Payton is a part of the screenwriting community Write For Animation, founded by Italian screenwriter Pietro Schito. Together, they write original TV series aiming to shake up the animation industry with humor, fun, and diversity through the eyes of strong female characters. When not writing, they’re exploring new cuisines, traveling around Chicago, or going to their neighborhood beach.
